Gambhir, the rising captain

Gautam Gambhir, the most successful captain of IPL5 is now demanded by many to be the captain to lead team India in the Test matches.

In the last IPL season Dhoni’s team Chennai Super Kings was defeated by Gambhir’s Kolkata Knight Riders and thus this led Gambhir’s acceptance to a different level.

Now there is a constant call for giving the responsibility over to Gambhir. The aggressive nature of Gautam Gambhir has made him highly acceptable as a captain. He gives a secured position to every player and hence makes the team more competent.

His outlook and persistence creates a good atmosphere within the team. Failure is a little known to this Delhi boy and hence is much more confident about the winning of the team led by him. Gambhir made his final position in the national team in the years of 2007-2008 and he is in the league of not wasting this opportunity.

Dhoni on the other hand is unique in his own way. He has got an immense capability to remain indifferent in the difficult situations. His power to control the team has made him a real leader in his team. He possesses an extraordinary level of sports man spirit which made his team a confident one in front of the whole world.

It is unfair if we try to draw a comparison in between Gambhir and Dhoni but we have seen that both are very much convincing with their performance and has gave their team mates an unique kind of leadership in their own different way. Gambhir brought KKR the cup of IPL and Dhoni served the countrymen with a World Cup. But we are utterly assured that the India will not feel a crisis in leadership in the near future.
